Episode #9 of Keep Shooting! Monday we have a special guest!

Watch Pet Portrait Tips, Lens Calibration, Get Photos Right in Camera on YouTube

Gracie made her video debut today as my special guest for a series on pet portraits. I give you a few tips on shooting dogs and other pets, especially puppies. I also answered questions about whether or not to calibrate your lens and body together and how to judge the quality of a print. Keep shooting!

Hey, Greg, thanks for addressing the right-out-of-ca mera topic. Sure there are sometimes when a photo should be pure, such as, maybe, an athletic moment; but there are other times, like a bridal portrait or a baby's first touch, when a little artist license can help convey the drama of the moment. I feel it is important for us photographers to be selective in what we show to the world, and if that means a little editing, then so be it.
