Greg at Fire 1 Live Burn Drill
Written by Gregory Cazillo Friday, December 09, 2011 17:27
This photo was taken a couple weeks ago on our live fire burn drill. We had quite a few evolutions setup that day. That's me with the "New Guy" tag on my jacket. Now I've learned a little more and completed another section of my probie packet and I have my name on my coat. I'll post a photo of that sometime. Can you find the "Nikon" in the photo? Photograph courtesy of Montgomery County Fire Academy.

Michael won the i create photographs tshirt with his comment 'A video on high speed sync for flash would be awesome'. I promise this was completely random choice, I closed my eyes and scrollled up and down to pick. His comment was under my pointer. Congrats Michael!

This is my favorite tripod! As I get older I definitely want things to weigh less and this new 3 Legged Thing tripod fits that bill perfectly. Its plenty tall, plenty short, plenty light & plenty sturdy. You can pick one up from the 3 Legged Thing website. Check out the video!
Update: Jack tripod holds 17 pounds...plenty for a pro body & 300 2.8.
Evaluating Exposure
Written by Gregory Cazillo Friday, February 03, 2012 09:50
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HXxVOR0AMUkUnderstanding your exposure modes gives you a big advantage & can make or break a photograph. Visualizing the image before exposure then looking at all parts of the image (background, foreground, subject) to make sure you only have good stuff in the frame brings your images to the next level.
Nice...one step closer to everyone using YouTube..
