Comment below - Do you want a video critique series?
This week's show Greg talked about a mistake he made when working on final prints for a client. He printed his logo too large for the small 8x10 framed prints. He had them redone and put a smaller one with just black ink on it instead of the full color red logo which was too obtrusive. Here are some tips on signing your own photographs.
- Never sign your mat, only the print. That way the client can redo their frame and mat if they choose.
- Use a good quality pen like an archival Recollections pen or a gel pen. Stay away from ball point pens and standard Sharpies.
- You can put it on the image digitally (Lightroom makes this easy) just make sure it is very small and doesn't overtake the print.
Today's #Cazillion questions were about f2.8 lenses from other companies like Sigma and Tamron, Silverfast software upgrades and is one photographer enough at a 'small' wedding. Keep shooting!
