Just saw a Tweet from Adobe and got redirected here:

blogs.adobe.com/photoshopdotcom/2012/03/...4-now-available.html

I didn't play around with the beta releases so the features mentioned may not be interesting to those who have tried the beta release.

But I've been away for so long (yet again) so I thought of sharing this

$79 for the upgrade is reasonable so i'll probably get it at some point. I'll wait to make sure most of the bugs are worked out though

Upgraded from LR3 to LR4, but I will be reverting, LR4 is buggy, slow, and cluttered with useless features in my opinion, and I don't have the nerve for it at this time.
Something else that I don't like is that ACR 7 didn't sort out the colour shifting when converting NEF files. Why does ACR convert Canon RAW colour information correctly, but not Nikon RAW? It's an easy fix, same correction values as ACR 6.6/6.7. Nikon or NPS should really publish the right correction values, not everyone has access to colour calibration charts and colorimeters. The real problem is though that Nikon doesn't force Adobe to stop making Nikon files look bad. There are more subtle ways to continue to push outdated CaptureNX software.
