Taken back at September 2011 after getting my brand new Sigma 30mm prime lens and decided to try shooting wide open just to test it out. No subject other than my pet cat, Kupo, I shot away (that sounded like I killed Kupo LOL).

Still learning how to use my newly bought prime lens, her eyes aren't as sharp even if I had the focus point on her eyes T.T lol

Anyways, this became one my most viewed and most commented photo in Flickr and Facebook and I will share it here.

Even if it is in fact an old photo taken 7 months ago, I still don't mind any feedback be it good or bad ;)

That is a really nice photo. I simply love the composition, and the out of focus yellow in the background really make it work. Good job. :)

Thanks Greg! And thanks for sharing this at the Facebook page! That made my day! :)

Thanks Clair! You're a cat breeder? Would you happen to know how to train them? LOL my cat gave birth to some lovely kittens; I will keep one and give the rest to my eager friends... I have failed in litter training my previous cat and wouldn't want that to happen again to my new kitten... got any tips?

Thanks Conor! Yeah, I am quite glad that this shot turned out well considering that I just wanted to test my new lens at the time!
