So, I don't remember the last time I've been here. HAHAHAH anyways, time to share a portrait of my classmate. Trying my best to get my workflow up and running again, but classes sure has been evil to me.

I realized that I have been very rusty in my editing, and let even my shooting, so there's much I need to learn all over again.

As always, feedback, good or bad, are welcomed.

Christian

I like the photo overall, good composition

One the color photo, The lighting on the model looks a little harsh. I think that's the look that you were going for on this one, but maybe softened or burned a little. The photo looks a little soft to me, I think the face could be a little sharper. I'm not sure why the shadow bother me, it seems to distract me for the main point of focus.

On the B&W- I like hi key of the with in the color version and would like to have seen that in the B&W version. I like the softer lighting this one has. I think there might be a little too much contrast on this one, it makes the model look pasted into the scene.

nice job overall :D

Thanks Bill!

Yep, those 2 photos I was experimenting with different post processes and ended up with those results.

I will keep those tips in mind next time I shoot and edit similar shots in the future =]

Thanks again!
