Hi all...I spent the day yesterday wandering around a tattoo convention..It's the first time I've taken my 7D out properly & I thought I might be able to get some interesting photos.

The lighting at the event was awful,I found I needed to bump up the ISO quite high to get the shutter speed I needed.

They were all taken in raw & I have edited them in lightroom.

please critique..

Hi Clair,
I like these photos very much. The b&w-tones are very contrasty and it´s an interesting story you tell. I don´t care about high ISO that much. It doesn´t affect the IQ of the photos at all. They have to be harsh because the topic is like that.

I agree with Olaf, the high iso doesn't negatively affect the images. What settings did you use?

Thanks for your replies.

I was at f8 & ISO 1000.

Any suggestions as to what I could've/should've done differently???
