Hello all, just wanted to share a picture I took a about a month ago. My plan was to go out and shoot some street after my class but I found out fast that Minneapolis is kind of a ghost town after 21:00. So I resorted to long exposure night shots.

Nikon D5000
18-55 3.5-5.6
22mm, 6 seconds at f/22
ISO 800

Overall I really like the shot, but I feel like the lights are a bit distracting for my taste. Did you use some sort of lens filter when this was taken?

All you need is a wide aperture to create that effect. Maybe stopping down a little would have been perfect.

I think you mean a small aperture to create this effect. This was taken at F/22, with no filters.
