I do a lot of studio styled photos with umbrellas and speed lights but I would like to branch into continuous lighting. There are so many varieties with a range of prices.

I'm looking for a good starter setup but something with quality.

Any suggestions? I'm interested in small product, and food photography.

I've used the westcott spiderlights. I love them. They are very soft daylight. Easy to set up and tear down. It's also very bright that you can turn the bulbs off 2 at a time with 3 switches to adjust brightness.
