On normal (non-macro) shots, I always do my best to not crop, but of course, if I really have to, I will.

For the macro shots, I noticed the shots I take, cropping makes some of the insects' compound eyes more detailed and easily noticeable, otherwise on non-cropped macro shots, their compound eyes will be much more appreciated when viewed on the original/actual size of the photo.

And oh yeah, love the colors and details on the first shot :)
