TOPIC: Wide Angle Portraits

Wide Angle Portraits 3 years 4 months ago #4612

The lenses I own are 50mm, 55-200mm, and 80-200mm. I borrowed a 18-105mm to take photo of fireworks and have been having fun experimenting with wide angle portraits. I know they can add distortions but I am having fun with environmental shots.

The following are all taken with 18mm

They are nice, but this bottom one has a blurred out weed in the foreground, i think you need to get rid of that, it is very distracting.

And the 2nd from the bottom has that weed going across the body, maybe try getting rid of that also

Nice shots! I like them!

With animals, you can do such things. If you are shooting people, there will be some distortion... :) But for animals its great.

And i really like the sharpness and the colors on these images! :)
