thank you guys. im using a nikon D5000 and a 18-55mm reversed. i bought a reversing ring in ebay for about $3. and i used my ET attached at the other end to protect the lens.
im playing with my 55-200mm + DCR250 but with this small subject its easier to use my reverse lens set-up for better magnification.
