Hi Greg,
my name is Hakan from Munich/ Germany-- i m a big fan of you - see all
ur videos.
i really need ur helps.. i m not proffessional fotographer -but i take
pictures about 5 years.. and have big knowledge about postproduction also..

but i make pictures by event in dark rooms ... i send u few pics of an
other photograher i like.. i really like his shooting and
color balance- white balance is so perfekt...

can u help me to adjust of aperture , speedlight setup,
if he use softbox ect .. can u give me some important pics.. i send u
also one pictures by me to compare.

These photos look like the photographer used off camera flash and a slow shutter speed to get the light trails and available light in the background.

Playing with rear or 2nd curtain sync, with a slower shutter can produce some fun effects like this as well.

ok- what do you think - did he used softbox - and how u can Focusing by off of camera flash and what u say about aperture and lens preferation? thanx

It looks like it was taken without a modifier, on a flash bracket with TTL. Aperture is probably on the smaller side f4 to f8 to keep it from gaining too much light with the shutter speed around 1/4 second to 1/2 second maybe even a full second.

If you do this with rear or 2nd curtain sync, whatever your camera manufacturer calls it, it will collect light and movement, then right before the shutter closes it will fire the flash freezing the subject.
