every year i set a background and strobes and shoot about 1500 youth dancers
in there dance recital costumes. i jut want to know proper settings for a full length shot particularly focus settings ie single point or dynamic etc.
i'm very confused on this and want crisp pictures. i have been using dynamic
is that correct?

Dynamic what? There is no 'right answer' for this. If it were me I would be using 4 lights, 2 foreground 2 background. Background lights would be about 1 1/2 stops brighter than foreground to get blown out background. I'd probably set foreground lights for f/5.6 ISO 200 and keep my shutter at 1/200th.

Yes single point is best for portraits.
