I am using D7000 and i am pretty satisfied with the results i get with it, though is a DX body but i have seen most people on youtube using D700 (FX), my question is that do i really need to get D700, whereas i have also read, heard lot of good reviews about D7000.

First two questions have to asked. Why do you think you need to upgrade from the D7000 to the D700, what is it that is limiting your shooting? Second, do you have the proper glass to use on the FX? Any DX glass you have becomes obsolete on the D700 as it'll only be five megapixels at that point. I'm not sure that if you looked at prices, but glass is a lot more expensive on the FX side of the house.

I do own both cameras and can answer your question with more detail later, but I need for you to answer those other questons first.
