D5100 vs D300

Did put my d5100 on the shelf and bought a used d300.
The feeling to just hold the camera is night and day.
The stepdown from 16-12 mpix and iso i dont mind at all.
they build quality makes it like i hold a Camera not a toy.

You are on the right track! The D300 is a great body with many pro features. I think you see the reason why I advocate them over consumer cameras!
