What r ur thoughts about that. Which is better do you think 50-500 or the 150-500
I want to use it as a tele to continue my 70-200 after the 200 mark.

because 200-400 is so big and so expensive and I dont believe I will use this focal length so much

what about a 300mm fix-lense? It could give you better quality than such a Mega-Zoom-Lense.
BTW: I´ve just realized, you are from Istanbul. What a wonderful city! Been there twice (longer ago) and loved it. A German Photographer, his name is Andreas Herzau, published a beautiful book about Istanbul. If you ever have the chance, check it out. And you know what? All pictures have been taken with a 50mm lense

Nikon D700, Nikkor 24mm 1.4, 50mm 1.4, 70-200mm 2.8

I will think about the 300mm lens. Let me check the price on that.

Wanted a 300mm but couldn't afford Nikkor glass so I tried the Sigma 120-300 (OS version)
It's outstanding!

Some of my friends told me go with the 50-500 instead of the 150 cause its better.
I find it stupid because I dont expect from a lens to have so large focal length and also having quality in all these focal lengts.
I am really happy I heard 150-500 is good.
So what are your brand thoughts about sigma and tamron. Is the quality good. How is the second hand etc..

It is solidly built and heavy yes, so not too much walking around, but i loved it. I sold it because i've got no use of it on a daily basis.
images were sharp, focus was fast, it did what i needed it to do. Bought mine second hand for 500 euros, sold it again to someone else going on a safari for 500 euros.. perfect!
