Which Black Rapid Strap is best?

So last summer I traveled through Europe for 3 weeks, in this time I realized that I should have bought a Black Rapid strap. Now my question is: which one is best? Keep in mind I'll have a Canon T2i with 24-70 2.8L on it. It's not a super heavy rig but it is extremely front heavy, will this disturb the Black Rapid at all?

I'm torn between the RS-Sport, RS-Sport 2 and the RS-7

I like the idea of the additional strap on the two sport models to further stabilize the strap but it would it be in my best interest to but an RS-7 and put on the Brad attachment? this way I could have the extra strap when i want and when I don't I can simply remove it, the best of both worlds. Also, what is the difference between the two sport models, I've read the Sport 2 is thinner, is this the only difference?

Any help, feedback, comments, experiences etc. would be very helpful!

*Edit: I will also be using this with a backpack, I've seen youtube videos showing that this is no problem with the RS-7, is this the same with the 2 sport models?

I went through the same process you did when I purchased my BR Strap. I ended up going with the RS-Sport because it is thicker. I was told that the thinner one, RS-Sport 2, got a little more uncomfortable when it was attached to a 70-200 lens. I also enjoy how the 2nd strap buckles under my arm and keeps the strap from moving around when I am running around. Either way I don't think you can go wrong with a Black Rapid strap.

I would get the rs- sport. I have a similar set up, Nikon d90 and a nikon 24-70 (front heavy in this case aswell), I would much rather have the brad attachment on already then having to buy it. Im not sure why they even made the strap without the brad, it doesn't feel as secure to my body.

I got the RS-Sport II the first week it came out. I must say I am very impressed by it. Very comfortable. I can walk all day long without any problems.

Hanging the D700 with grip, 2 battery's, say the Nikkor 24-70, perhaps a flash. Works like a charm.

Nikon FX body's and some Nikkor FX glass I believe...

Praktica 35mm analogue just for fun

Thanks for all the responses everyone! I'll probably go for the RS-Sport 2, i think thinner will be better for me and the addition of the underarm strap sounds like a necessity.

Any troubles using this one with a backpack? Do you put it over the backpack or put the backpack over it?
