I went out shooting yesterday. I noticed that I would shoot a flower and in my eyes it would look focused but then putting on the computer it was not focused. Are there any adjustments I need to make for that? Thanks

Can you post the picture on Flickr? It would be helpful to see the image and the settings

Yes Image would be helpful, can you also collaborate on what type of focus and metering did you use. I find that if you turn on the beep (for the lack of better term) in the camera, you know exactly when the focus locks. Greg has a great video on this look at his "Improve your DSLR Focus Accuracy"

Looks more like a depth of field issue vs a focus issue. Macro often requires higher apertures (f/11 f/16 or more) to get good results.

Also, what camera do you own? I know with some of the Nikons they have a DOF button on it and if you press it you'll actually show in the view finder what the picture will look like before actually taking it.

Good news is that your camera has the feature, but I recommend reading the owners manual about it or doing research online for more information.
