Hi Greg, I spoke to you recently regarding of this topic. The photo I took at beach is now looking nice. The background is white, water is white. please tell me what I have done wrong and how we should take pictures under bright sunlight.
f 7.1, Exposure time 1/320 sec, ISO 100

What mode were you shooting in? Also look into exposure compensation.

Image is overexposed and it also looks like your white balance is off. I suggest taking some time to learn exposure and histogram in your camera.

What Keith and Greg (above) have already said is correct. :)

This topic really shouldn't be in "Suggestions" though. I thought "Suggestions" was for suggestions about how to improve the site or a good idea for the video... :unsure:

So! At first, welcome to the forums!

Second :) Moved the topic to the right catagory.

About the image.

* The angle is off, so its looks a bit weird because of the off horizon. Keep that in mind the next time

* Try to check your white balance, if you are shooting in RAW, you can leave it on automatic, and change it afterwards in your post processing. Thats what RAW also can do.

* Try to get a object of intrest in the image. This is the most difficult part. Seeing the point to be atracted to :)
