Hi!

I want to a Fantasy Fair today with my girlfriend. Always wanted to do this so the time has come :)

Off course. I was not dressed up. Yeah well, maybe as a dwarf for just being myself... (lol).

Here are some shots. Let me know what u think.

Looks like a lot of fun. We have a Renasaince festival here every year. It looks similar to yours, with the exception of No cool castle with a moat. Great images anyway.

ok Roy you asked for it ;)

over all I like the set, all really sharp!, a few comments though

1. I would like to see the rest of the walkway on the left and the flag pole in the front, Looks a little flat to me.

2. I think it's the post? Looks a little heavy on the contrast to me and maybe a little fill flash on the face.

3. I would like to see a little fill flash on this too, to balance out the harsh back light. I really like the comp and how the hawk is staring right at you.

4. Love this pic! there is so much going on in this one yet I keep getting drawn to the snake eye. I think a little burning and dodging to bring the focal point to both eyes.

5. not crazy about this one

6. I can't stop staring back at the eyes.....

and as always I hope you don't think I'm being harsh, just my opinion

Thats not too harsh Bill! Thank you for time to critique these images.

I had to consider some things for taking those images. I had no flash with me because i was walking around for 8 hours so i did not wanted to carry my 580EXII the whole day.

The paths were very narrow so i did not had the space for a big lense and a big flash on it.. which was a pity.

About the image of the castle, i had to take it this way because there were market stands on the left and right so this was the only way to get a clear shot haha!

Thanks for you critiques!
