Military Retirement Ceremony Photo Help 3 years 4 months ago #4704

My coworker asked me to take pics of her retirement ceremony. It will be indoors under fluorescent lights. I have a D600 and 24-70/2.8 lens and an SB-700 strobe. Should I shoot no flash, ,use the on-camera flash for fill, use the SB-700 in TTL mode, add the included blue gel cover? Please help.

Hi Mike,

It really depends on how the lighting is inside. If there is enough natural light, you can make it with natural light.

If flash is allowed, you can use flash and i would use the SB-700 on TTL mode to fill in. I would let it bounce against the ceiling or so...

Your camera setup is good, so that won't be the problem.

Greetings,
Roy
