Watch Photographing Children on YouTube

This week's video I go over a recent shoot with Julie, an 18 month old. I was presented with a major twist as soon as I arrived for the shoot, so I was quite glad I overpacked my equipment that day. In the video I go over how the shoot went, some of the things I am looking for as well as how I might edit some of the photos. Here is one of the photos, enjoy...keep shooting!

Another great video, thank you. The tips about how to capture children were very helpful. My kids are monsters to try and photograph in anything like a natural pose. All I get are funny faces at the first site of a camera!

Also, I found it very interesting and helpful to hear your thoughts on which shots you like and which you don't like, and why. I would welcome more videos like this, when you have an interesting shoot.
Lastly I would love to see how you rescued the over-exposed photo into B&W. I have several which might be rescued like that. Thank you again.

Loved this video - thanks. I have grandchildren I'd like to capture but I'm such an amateur. Did you happen to use a flash in some of the photos to fill in the face? Keep the videos coming.
Thank you so much.
