I usually get the exposure I want in my photos, but I've been trigger happy with changing the aperture just as much as I change shutter speed. I tend to think of protecting ISO first, followed by aperture, then shutter speed. No wonder my results are inconsistent. Thanks for reminding us that the aperture should take priority when setting up the exposure.
