Watch Adobe Lightroom 5 Wishlist on YouTube

Adobe Lightroom 5 Beta was released this week with some nice new features. Instead of the regular video of what's new, I did a video about WHAT I WANT in Adobe Lightroom 5. Here's a walkthrough video on new features in Adobe Lightroom 5 Beta http://bit.ly/lr5features. Keep Shooting!

My Lightroom 5 wishlist, what do you want to see?  Comment below!

  • Double click when opening catalog on PC
  • Real books, more labs, separate images sent to lab for individual image corrections
  • Tethered capture window that doesn't float overtop, give me option to dock it
  • Automatic backup without prompt, limit by number of backups or space
  • Predefined keyword list so that more people will use keywording
  • Custom keyboard shortcuts, p is for pick which I never use, let me set it as print module like D for develop
  • Network catalogs, allow saving them on network drives
  • Better master/slave catalog management, easier saving of changes back to the master
  • iPad App as another slave catalog

I would like to see a Photoshop style healing brush. I don't do a lot of heavy editing, but I don't like that I have to take the photos into Photoshop just to remove a zit or something. I know LR has a clone tool but I don't like it as much.

Interesting talk on Lightroom 5, but I am not a lightroom user, I prefer Aperture 3 (mac only) You can do books (which you can customize to a point) do slideshows, a great slideshow creator thats built in. Even doing contact sheets is much better than lightroom. If your not familiar with Aperture 3, it's the same type of workflow as lightroom, but I think it's much better. What are your thoughts? Thanks

Sorry I'm watching this video and doing a little comparison with Aperture 3. You talk about how you want better keywording, Aperture 3 does have some basic keywords already installed. For me, Aperture 3 just blows lightroom out of the water..but thats my opinion.
