How Exposure & Metering Works in Your DSLR Camera

Watch How Exposure & Metering Works in Your DSLR Camera on YouTube

In this video I go over some basics...although my perspectives on those basics are sure to help everyone. You will learn how your exposure modes work: program mode, aperture priority, shutter priority and manual mode. Next up is your metering modes: matrix/evaluative, center weighted and spot. I go over when to use each one and when to stay away from each. Keep shooting!

I referenced a number of other videos in this one. Other related videos:

" hope you're shooting Nikon "

Why do you hate us ?? ( Canon users ).

Good Video, Canon has center weighted, partial and spot, not sure if Nikon has the same ones but I believe you mentioned about center weighted and spot.

Spot metering might have been better but I used center weighted on that image.

Mr Cazillo ,since i've listen to you're videos i'm getting a lot more satisfaction out of my photos ! Before i would be mostly disapointed .. I would use the {P} mode ,now i dont use it at all..I prefer the manual mode and paying attention to the histogram..I do a lot of diferent kind of pictures ...We are so fortunate to have these free videos ..Sincerely mr Cazillo ,i hope you have someone in you're life that is bringing you such joy as you are giving us !
